Evotrix Beta Is Live Today! 🎉
Update 011
June 28th 2025
After months of solo development — creating the art, music, programming, and design all by myself — I’m beyond excited to finally share Evotrix with you in beta today! This game has been a labor of love, and I can’t wait for players to experience its weird, dark world and unique combat.
I’ve decided to release the game in an open beta test phase, which means it might not show up if you try to search for it directly on the Google Play Store yet. To play Evotrix right now, please use the download link below:

June 25th 2025
This week, I started laying the groundwork for the final stretch
toward launch. I’ve built a new system that lets players recover HP
through in-game rewards, giving more flexibility for surviving
longer runs and adding strategic layers to how players choose to
explore and interact.
I’ve also added audio feedback for dialogue — a subtle sound now
plays with each letter as text appears, which really helps give the
conversations more personality and momentum. It’s a small touch that
adds a lot.
Several new NPCs were added to earlier areas, helping fill out the
atmosphere and worldbuilding. These characters offer both useful
insight and the kind of weirdness you’ve come to expect from
Evotrix.
I’m beginning to prepare for the game’s release now — leaning toward
launching as an open test. That’ll let me keep improving and adding
small things even after it’s live. Either way, development is
shifting into marketing mode. I’ve already created a trailer and a
handful of YouTube Shorts to start spreading the word. It’s nearly
time.
Want to help? Talk about Evotrix! It will help more than you know!
Update 009
June 21st 2025
Exciting progress this week as Evotrix grows deeper and
more interactive! We've added NPCs with randomized dialogue to bring
more life and variety to your encounters — every conversation feels
fresh and unpredictable.
Arcade machines now populate the world, featuring 3 different
randomized mini-games. Completing each mini-game unlocks doors or
portals, opening new paths and secrets throughout the levels.
Battles in LV001 have been tuned to be more achievable, making your
first fights challenging but fair. I’ve also added music to the
arcade areas to enhance immersion, along with victory themes for
both arcade games and battles.
It’s all about adding polish and depth as we keep building the
world. Can’t wait to see how players respond to these new layers of
gameplay!
Update 008
June 15th 2025
Here’s a first look at the opening 11 minutes of Evotrix!
This gameplay preview dives into exploration, dialogue, the menu
system, and introduces the unique battle mechanics that define the
game.
Battles are fully real-time—dodge incoming obstacles while watching
the screen for falling symbols. When the right symbol appears, hit
the matching button with precise timing to strike. It’s a mix of
rhythm, focus, and reflex that makes every fight feel alive.
This clip showcases the core systems in action, giving a feel for
the tone, flow, and interactivity of the world. There’s still a lot
to come, but the foundation is in place. Can’t wait to see how far
this evolves.
Update 007

June 14th 2025
Evotrix just leveled up—literally. A fully playable arcade machine
has been added to the game world. This isn't just for fun;
completing the arcade mini game unlocks doors and portals, letting
you progress deeper into the world of Evotrix.
- The arcade machine plays like a high-stakes challenge—beat it to
unlock your path forward.
- Victory music now plays after battles and after completing the
arcade game, giving your wins the fanfare they deserve.
- These systems aren’t just bolted on—they’re integrated into the
story, mechanics, and progression to reinforce the themes of
reaction and consequence.
Evotrix continues to evolve into an experience where every action
has impact. With new systems that reward skill and exploration, the
game world is becoming more dynamic by the day. Stay sharp—more
surprises are on the way.

Update 006
June 7th 2025
Evotrix has seen some key improvements lately, as the project
continues to grow from a passion-fueled solo development into a
fully reactive experience. Every system is getting more refined and
responsive to player behavior. These are not just quality-of-life
updates—they're steps toward building a world that feels alive and
aware.
- The camera and player movement have been reworked to eliminate
jitter, making gameplay smoother and more immersive.
- Text is now larger and easier to read across all devices,
especially during dialogue and UI moments.
- Enemy health bars have been added to every battle to make combat
more strategic and readable.
- The tutorial has been polished for better pacing and clarity,
making sure new players ease in naturally.
- Boss difficulty now shifts subtly depending on your behavior. This
includes choices you make and how you play.
- A quit button has been added to the overworld, so you can exit
cleanly whenever needed.
- Ad integration has been added to the "Full HP" option on the Game
Over screen, giving you a second wind if you choose to watch a quick
ad.
These updates continue to build on Evotrix’s core ideas: reaction,
consequence, and mystery. Whether you’re a player, writer, or indie
game fan, keep watching—more is coming soon.
Update 005
May 31st 2025
I started this project as a Solo Dev March 29th and I am finishing
the main gameplay of Evotrix now! I am creating everything that you
see and hear in this game. I’m hoping to get going on the first set
of testing within the next week or two. It’s still too early to talk
about release, as I may have a lot to add to this game—but if that’s
the case: it will be worth the wait!
Now with that, here is a video demonstrating the first boss battle
in the game! This is the first video showing off the battle system
in the game. I can't wait to see what people think when they play
it!
Update 004
May 17th 2025
This gameplay footage shows the opening sequence of Evotrix. It
begins with an intro dialogue and a name entry prompt that sets the
tone for the game.
The player then appears on the first platform, a dark and surreal
space floating in the void. After exploring a bit and interacting
with an NPC, the player activates a portal to travel to a new
platform.
The video also demonstrates the pause menu system, which includes a
clean inventory and stats screen. Key stats like HP, Attack,
Defense, current XP, and XP to the next level are displayed, giving
players a clear snapshot of their progress.
This early gameplay highlights the foundational systems of the
game—exploration, dialogue, stat tracking, and world traversal via
portals—all in place and working smoothly.
Update 003
May 13th 2025
I'm currently focused on drawing sprites. The foundation of the game
is solid—core systems are in place, and everything functions the way
it should. Right now, I'm deep in the detail phase, filling out the
world with visual polish and character.
The heavy lifting is done.
The bread is baked and toasted. Now I'm preparing the butter for a
smooth, healthy spread—bringing everything together so it feels
complete, cohesive, and alive.

Update 002
May 3rd 2025
Here's a peek at the character animation as they walk forward and
sideways — it's all starting to come together! The game world is
feeling more alive as I fine-tune how the player moves and explore
the personality behind every step.
This is a solo project, and I've been pouring a lot into it —
everything from the visuals and music to the atmosphere and tone.
Lately, I’ve been designing unique enemy attacks to help make each
encounter feel distinct and memorable (without relying on typical
patterns).
Progress is moving steadily: environments are expanding, NPCs are
finding their place, and the surreal vibe of the world is locking
in. Every detail pushes it closer to something strange and
special.
More soon — thanks for following the journey.

Update 001
April 20th 2025
Step into a world where reality fractures and imagination takes
control. Evotrix is an action-adventure RPG in development that
dares to break the rules. Set across a haunting landscape of
floating platforms and forgotten machines, Evotrix blends a rich,
atmospheric story with a bold new battle system that demands quick
thinking and even quicker reflexes.
Rather than relying on traditional turn-based combat, Evotrix
introduces a fresh style of real-time encounters where movement,
timing, and precision are key. Every battle is a test of skill — and
every decision pushes you further into the unknown. This is only the
beginning. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes looks as we
continue building the strange and beautiful world of Evotrix.
